Danca sobre Rodas (Dancing on Wheels) is a wheelchair dance/ballet group.
The groep consists of 8 wheelchair dancers and 8 (ballet)dancers on foot.

Dance sobre Rodas is a part of the IBISS (Brasilian Institute of Social Health) program Movimento na Rodas.
The aim of this program is to get handicapt an paralyzed youngsters out of their social isolation.
A lot of youngsters are victims of lost bullets.
Unfortunately, the (drug) war in Rio de Janeiro makes a lot of victims of this kind.

This short film shows you the repetition in june 2005, before the dance group went a week later
to the Mundial Festival in the Netherlands.
